YES Programme at Shoprite
This 12-month YES Programme places qualifying students in Shoprite stores as Sales Representatives for the Shoprite Money Market Account. The programme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and workplace experience by offering structured, on-the-job exposure in a performance-driven retail environment.

The opportunity is open to qualifying candidates who meet YES Programme
requirements and fall within the age range of 18 to 35 years. Eligible qualifications include: NC(V) Level 4: Office Administration with a W&RSETA background

Benefits:
12-month fixed-term YES employment contract
Monthly basic salary of R3,360
Uncapped commission structure based on performance
Structured exposure to sales targets,
customer service standards, and compliance requirements
Potential consideration for permanent employment after completion, subject to performance and operational needs

This skills programme provides young people, who are without previous work experience, with the basic skills to work in a retail environment.
It comprises of three weeks of theory and four weeks in-store practical training, and successful participants receive a NQF level 2 certificate upon completion.
