Social Grants Payment Dates for June 2022
The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) earlier published payment dates for social grants for the 2022 to 2023 financial year. These include Sassa Social grants payment dates for June 2022.
Social Development budget vote
The Minister of Social Development recently tabled the budget vote for the Social Development Department. Some of the monies will “contribute toward reducing poverty among South Africans who are unable to support themselves.”
The Minister also said “SASSA will be supporting initiatives through which CoVID-19 SRD grant beneficiaries as well as child support grant caregivers can access employment opportunities.”
Social grant payment schedule
It is worth to remind you that Sassa indicated that social grants will be paid from the second day of each month except where the second day of the month fall on weekends. In such cases, the pay days will be moved to the next working day as Sassa does not disburse payments on public holidays and on weekends as well.

The social grants for the month of June 2022 will be paid as follows:
Older Age Pension Grant
The Older Persons grant will be paid on 02 June 2022
Disability Grant
The Disability Grant will be paid on 03 June 2022
Child Support Grant and Other Grants
All other grants will be paid on 06 2022
