NSFAS Announcement September 2022
“Please note that the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) ran a testing exercise on the 15th of September 2022, on its online portal in preparation for the 2023 funding application season. This was to ensure that the system is ready to receive applications before the opening date. Individuals who applied during this testing phase will not be required to apply once applications officially open.”

NSFAS 2023 Application Dates
Applicants of the National Student Financial Aid Scheme (NSFAS) are anxiously waiting for the date when applications open. NSFAS application opening dates for 2023 have not yet been confirmed , but it is likely to open in September or October and close at the beginning of 2023
NSFAS said “The opening date for applications will be announced by the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation in the next few days. Reminders will be made on all relevant platforms with more information on how to apply and what documents are needed.”
