How to Check R350 Status
Now that you have applied or reapplied for the Sassa SRD R350 Grant for 2022 to 2023, you may now check the progress of your application online. Here below is how to check R350 grant status online.
How to Check R350 Status
The SRD Grant status may change monthly depending on your circumstances. For example, if Sassa does a database search and find that you are now receiving NSFAS which you were previously not receiving, your status may change to approved to one that shows that you are receiving NSFAS. Similarly, if they found that you have been registered on the Unemployment Insurance Fund (UIF), your status may change to ‘UIF Registered’.
If your status says ‘UIF Registered’ you must make sure that you get removed from UIF database before you apply for reconsideration or make an appeal for a declined application.
Now, how can you track your application status?
It is very easy to track your R350 grant status once you have submitted your application.
Here is How to Check Sassa SRD R350 Status online
Step 1: Go to the SASSA SRD website or this link https://srd.sassa.gov.za/sc19/status
Step 2; Scroll down to ‘Application Status’
Step 4: Click on ‘Click here to check online’
Step 5: Enter your ID number and cellphone number used during registration.
Step 6: Follow the remaining steps to check your status
You should then be able to see the status of your R350 grant application.
SRD Grant Extension
The current SRD Grant has been extended from April 2022 to March 2023. Those who have applied before were advised to reapply online. Sassa indicated that the WhatsApp line for applications will be opened soon.
